Encourage your child to explore the wonderful world of science. In our exciting Nursery Programs, children learn about animals, the environment, space, electricity, chemistry, and much, much more. With experiments, crafts, stories, and outside adventures at the Museum, your child can begin to understand the world around them.  Children three, four and five years of age are welcome to join our Nursery classes.
 

Register for the Fall session, (or) Save 5% off of the Fall & Winter sessions (or) Save 10% off when you register your child for the whole year.

Sibling Discount: $25.00 per session

Family Membership Fee: $60.00 per session or $100.00 for the year.

 

Choose the day & time that is best for you and your preschooler. 1 & 1/2 hour programs includes: program, snack & playtime

Fall Harvest- Enjoy the outdoors as we watch the leaves change color, make your own plant press, go pumpkin picking, and enjoy a snack cooked over an open fire.

 

Science on the Move- Learn about what makes a race car so fast and why boats float. Design and build your own race car and sail a boat down our homemade stream.

 

Crafty Science- Discover all the wonderful things you can make with science! Try tie-dyeing the natural way, create your own toy and make some eco-friendlly paper.

 

Homey Habitats- Learn about all the things that go together to make the perfect home. Create a terrarium for a tiny critter, discover the wonders of the tropical rainforest, and more.

 

Up, Up, and Away!- Travel beyond our atmosphere as we take a walk amongst the planets, learn about life as an astronaut and create some constellations.
