FAMILY WORKSHOP: EXPLORE IT! CANDY CHEMISTRY

Science is always something we do can enjoy as a family! Parental involement in the learning process is rewarding for adults as well as children! Each family workshop highlights a unique science subject, and includes 1.5 hours of science exploration and fun.

SMLI's Explore It! family workshop series invites families to take a deep dive into unique science topics. Each workshop will feature hands-on activities and demonstrations.

Sunday, December 8th: Candy Chemistry

What better to experiment with than candy? Find out the science behind the world's most favorite ingredient, sugar! Learn how chocolate is made from tree to chocolate bar, and even taste some yummy creations of your own!

Please note:

• Base price ($25) includes registration for 1 Adult & 1 Child

• Any additional child or adult participants must be purchased. Additional Adults: $10 each & additional children: $20 each.

• This is not a drop-off program. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ARRIVAL:

Please use Visitor Entrance when arriving and park in our visitor parking lot before heading up the hill to the main house. All participants must check-in at the front desk in the lobby.
